Plant Supply & Natural Variations

Effective 8 October 2026. These general website policies are subject to the accepted project contract and non-excludable Australian consumer and NSW building law rights. They are not a substitute for a legally compliant residential building contract.

Natural variations

Plants are living products. Height, width, density, branching, leaf size, seasonal colouring and maturity may vary between specimens, nursery batches and reference photos. Pot size does not guarantee a particular canopy size or shape unless expressly specified.

Minor cosmetic imperfections

Small leaf tears, holes, scarring, brown tips, spots, bent foliage, asymmetry and limited leaf loss can occur during normal growth, nursery handling and transport. A minor cosmetic imperfection does not automatically mean a plant is unhealthy or unsuitable.

Quality and supplier factors

Garden Art takes reasonable care selecting and handling plants. External nurseries, weather, availability and delivery conditions may affect appearance; those factors do not remove Garden Art’s legal responsibilities for goods and services supplied.

Photographs and substitutions

Images are illustrative unless specific attributes are agreed in writing. If an agreed plant is unavailable, material substitutions in species, specification, size or price require client approval.

Problems and remedies

Contact Garden Art promptly with photographs if plants appear seriously damaged, diseased, unhealthy or materially different from the agreed description. We will assess and provide remedies required by Australian Consumer Law. No fixed notification deadline removes statutory rights.
